ProSouth Wrestling FaceBook

From the very moment this match was announced there was controversy. It is no secret that Ace Haven, whose father Terry owns Pro South, is booker of the show and he admitted such in his exclusive interview this past Wednesday on Shoot Finish on this very network: Ace Haven Interview .But the time for controversy was over. It was time for Pro South to shine, and the entire locker room came to dance tonight.

1st Match: Pro South Tag Team Championship

'The Epic Alliance' Big Tomb & Daniel Alexander vs 'Total Justice'  Shawn Seagle & Kaiden Knight (C)
Total Justice consists of Tyler Gage, Ace Haven, Shawn Seagle, & Kaiden Knight, but tonight Ace had Pearce and Gage had a triple threat match so Seagle and Kaiden were on their own. Big Tomb and 'The Prodigy' Daniel Alexander, representing The Epic Alliance,  were first to the ring. As the Champions Total Justice stepped into the ring, Tomb & Alexander took the opening and jumped the champs. Daniel & Tomb went to work pummeling them. As Tomb & Alexander tried to whip Seagle & Kaiden into each other, the champs reversed sending Tomb & Alexander into one another. This sent Daniel flying through the ropes and crashing to the floor. Tomb didn't budge. Running clothesline from Seagle did nothing to Tomb. Even when followed by a clothesline by Kaiden did nothing to budge Big. Standing calf kick from Shawn immediately following this did nothing as well. HUGE running clothesline from Knight that followed, dropped Tomb to the mat like a falling Sycamore tree. Tomb rolled out of the ring to the floor to regain his composure. Seagle leapt to the top rope and crashed into Alexander on the outside. Then, to everyone's surprise, Knight leapt to the top. Well, not leapt, hopped, to the middle rope, then climbed to the top turnbuckle. As Tomb cornered a just recovering Seagle, Kaiden crashed into Tomb. Total Justice climbed back into the ring and posed for the fans, as if already triumphant. This gave Tomb & Alexander an opportunity to discuss strategy on the outside.
The match then begins with Seagle and Tomb. Two VERY contrasting styles. Power vs Speed. These are the match-ups everyone looks forward to in sports competitions. Seagle and Tomb circled each other. Shawn refused to turn his back on Alexander, instead spinning completely around when he got close to the opposing corner. Tie up in middle of ring and Tomb does what he should: he uses power to hurl Shawn into his corner and proceeds to pound him to the canvas. As ref pushes Tomb out of corner, Daniel wastes no time in choking Shawn behind ref's back. Kaiden runs into the ring and Daniel jumps off apron. Ref backs Knight back to his corner and Daniel 'self tags' himself in. Fans scream to the ref there was no tag, but Daniel is very convincing in there was a tag. Daniel applies a stalling suplex to Seagle in the middle of the ring. Goes for a quick cover, but only a 2 count. Tag into Tomb. Tomb & Alexander isolate Seagle in the corner, pummeling him and not giving him even an inch to tag Kaiden. Big scoop slam by Tomb almost sends Seagle THROUGH the mat. Seagle climbs to his feet as Tomb lurches over him, only to be met with Tomb's clubbering forearm to the back. Tomb then drops a big hip press across Shawn's face. Only a 2 count.
Another tag brings Daniel in. Alexander immediately goes over to Kaiden and mouths off, drawing Knight into the ring. All the while, Tomb pounds Shawn into the opposing corner, behind the ref's back. Alexander stands on the throat of Shawn as ref tries to get Kaiden, who is still in the ring, out. Alexander takes Seagle to the ground with side head lock takeover, and kicks him square in the back. Then, another kick. Seagle tries for a desperate tag, but Daniel hooks a full nelson on Shawn and drags him into center of the ring. Daniel changes to a front face choke and reaches out with his foot for Tomb to tag him. Tomb, for some reason doesn't tag.
*Now, here's my first note of the evening: DO NOT hesitate to tag any part of your tag partner; it doesn't have to be the hand. Alexander's foot was out stretched so Tomb could tag and Daniel not release the front face lock, but Tomb ignores it.*
Daniel finally has to loosen grip with one arm, reach over his shoulder, for Big to tag him. Luck for them, Shawn was so worn down from punishment, he could get away. Another big scoop slam on Shawn in the middle of the ring. Tomb snatches an arm, rolls Shawn on his stomach and applies a camel clutch to Seagle. Just as it seems Seagle is going to reach the ropes, Big, drops all his weight on Shawn's back and re-applies the camel clutch. Crowd gets LOUD. They want Shawn out of this hold that appears to be breaking him in half. Seagle almost gets free again, but Tomb wrenches on the camel clutch even further. Seagle finally gets free as Tomb lets go to apply more pressure. As Tomb jumps to squash Seagle again, Shawn flips over and gets his knees up, which Tomb crashes groin first into. Crows goes CRAZY. Right as Seagle gets to Kaiden to tag, Alexander runs in and clocks Kaiden, knocking him off the apron and runs back out of the ring. Tomb tags Daniel in. Kaiden slowly climbs back to apron and Alexander snatches Shawn out of the corner. Daniel charges at Seagle as he staggers to his feet. Shawn regains himself enough to side step Daniel and Alexander flies out of the ring. Seagle collapses. Alexander climbs to the apron. Seagle meets him with a shoulder to the gut. Seagle tries to suplex Daniel back into the ring. Daniel drags Seagle over top rope after Seagle's attempt to suplex Daniel fails. Seagle goes for a clothesline on the apron, which Alexander ducks and hits a STO. Both men down on the outside. Daniel, finally to his feet, tosses Seagle in the ring and goes for a pin. Only a 2 count. Daniel grabs Seagle by the foot to drag him into his corner, but Seagle manages to stand to one leg, and hits an enziguri. Both men down. Seagle gets tag to Kaiden. Crowd EXPLODES. Clothesline to Alexander from Knight almost takes his head off. Back elbow sends Daniel to the canvas. Irish whip by Kaiden is reversed by Daniel who throws a clothesline, which Kaiden ducks and bounces off ropes and spears Daniel. Alexander's head bounces off bottom rope. Kaiden drags Daniel into position and tags Seagle back in. Shawn goes up top and delivers a Shawnton to Alexander. Pinfall is broken up by Big Tomb. Irish whip by Seagle reversed by Alexander. Shawn ducks clothesline by Daniel and jumps to middle rope and sends a spinning front kick to Daniel's face. Cover by Seagle only leads to a 2 count. Tomb drops off apron, runs behind Kaiden and pulls him off apron; face first. Tomb throws Knight into the guard rail. Ref turns his back to restore order on the outside. Seagle goes up top for a high risk move to finish Daniel off. Epic Grant Mitchell runs into the ring and attacks Seagle. Epic drags Shawn to the middle of the ring by his hair and hits a Full Nelson Twisting Face Plant on him. I'm sure Epic has a name for this. Epic drags Daniel on Shawn and slides out of the ring and hides. Ref sees cover and counts 1-2-3.
Winner and new Pro South Tag Team Champions: Big Tomb & 'The Prodigy' Daniel Alexander.

Alxander, Tomb, & Epic

2nd Match: Pro South All Out Championship
'So Fine' Frankie Valentine vs 'Mean' Mike Posey (C)
This was Frankie's last title shot at Posey for the All Out ChampionshipAfter weeks of doing whatever it took to hold the championship, Posey knew this was it. If he could handle Valentine one more time, this road block of him cementing himself as THE definitive All Out Champion would be out of his way. Adding to everything in Frankie's way, is the dastardly ref Toby Romine. Romine has been accused of shenanigans by the fans for months. Frankie looked ready, but let's be honest, when was the last time either two of these men didn't deliver in a match... Posey started match jawing with fans who were screaming "MIGHTY MOUSE". Posey immediately went to the arm of Valentine. Twisting and wrenching, trying to gain leverage over Frankie. Valentine, nowhere near a green horn in this business, wasn't going for this and answered with wrenches of his own and battled for leverage of his own. Hammerlock, followed by a takeover put Posey to the mat. Posey reaches for ropes, realizes he's too far away and battles to his feet. Arm wrench into a waist lock by Posey. Frankie counters with a waist lock of his own. Posey, smartly, ducks between ropes which constitutes Toby to make Frankie break the waist lock. This is a wrestling clinic. Two vets. Going tic-for-tat.  Both men go back to arm wrenches and counters, leading to Posey on the mat. Hammer lock into side head lock for Frankie. Posey reaches for rope. Valentine digs head lock in. Switches to arm and yanks on the arm of Posey, nearly separating his shoulder in the process. Posey reaches with all his might for ropes and Frankie lets go and Mike's momentum sends him through the ropes and to the outside.Much to the delight of the crowd.
Posey climbs to apron, but Valentine charges at him and Mike drops back down to the floor. Posey back up to apron and Frankie grabs him by the head and hurls Posey into the ring, over the top rope. Valentine puts Posey on top rope. Ref tries to administer a fast 5 count to Frankie, who releases Posey and he falls flat on his face.  Frankie right back to the arm of Posey. Posey attempts to counter with hip toss, but Frankie counters that showing his strength by hip tossing Posey across the ring. Back body drop sends Posey into the air. As he sits up, Posey notices a charging Frankie going for his patented rolling front kick, and rolls out of the ring. Valentine backs up and allows Mike to slide back into the ring. Posey doesn't take his eyes off Frankie. Valentine approaches Posey to grab him off the mat, and is met with a toe kick. Posey applies side head lock. Valentine whips Posey into ropes to break free. Posey shoulder tackles Valentine and flexes his biceps in Frankie's face. Posey off the ropes and Valentine leap frogs him. As Frankie lands, his knee buckles on him. As he limps a step away, Posey IMMEDIATELY chop blocks Frankie. Posey then sees a target and attacks. Stretching, the injured leg. Dropping his entire weight on it. Stomping on the knee. And even putting the injured knee on bottom rope and catapulting himself up with all his weight on the draped knee. Posey then drags Frankie to the turnpost and applies a standing Lion Tamer from the outside of the ring. Frankie screams but doesn't give up. Mike with a vaulting leg drop to the inside, across Frankie's throat. Quick cover, quick count, but only a 2 count. Posey drags Valentine to the middle of the ring applies a Russian leg stretch to the injured knee. Valentine almost gets to the ropes, but Posey slams his knee into the canvas. Posey then applies a low single leg crab on Frankie. Cover by Posey only gets a 1 count. Posey tries to pick Frankie off mat, but is met with a fist to the gut. Posey stomps Valentine down and goes back to work on knee. Leg death lock applied by Posey.
Valentine fights up realizing severity of the situation at hand. Posey drops Frankie on his knee and follows it up with a dragon screw leg whip. Posey stretches Frankie in the middle of the ring. Contorting his leg completely sideways. Frankie manages to find the power and uses good leg to kick Posey off to cause separation between the two. Big right hand drops Posey. Then another. Then another. Valentine hits a discus clothesline. Pinfall by Frankie, but Romine takes forever to get down for count and only gets a 1 before Posey kicks out. Step up enziguri by Frankie, drops Posey to the mat. Pinfall attempt again and a slow count by ref leads to a 1. Frankie turns attention to ref to confront him about slow counts, when Posey hits a low-lying running neck cutter. Only a 2 count. Posey throws right hand, which Frankie ducks and goes for a back slide pin. Another slow 1 count. Posey charges Frankie but eats the mat thanks to a flap jack by Frankie. Both men down. Posey rolls to the outside. Frankie to his feet and hits a plancha over the top rope onto Posey. Valentine first to his feet and staggers into ring. Posey gets to the apron as Toby gets to 8 in his count. 'Screw you people' Posey says as he drops back to floor and is counted out. Which, of course, means Frankie wins the match, but Poey retains his Pro South All Out Championship.

3rd Match: Triple Threat for Pro South Heavyweight Championship
'Epic' Grant Mitchell vs Brian Alexander 'The Great' vs 'The Future Classic' Tyler Gage (C)
Toby Romine comes out as ref of this match. The fans are NOT happy to see him after the shenanigans of the last match.  After all three participants are in the ring, Tyler Gage grabs Toby and hits a spine buster on him. Toby rolls out of the ring. Brian Alexander whistles then yells 'Hey we need another referee out of the back!' Another ref emerges from the back. ONLY THEN does Gage hand over the title.
*Now here's my second note of the night. Well, actually this is really two in one: Toby, who has reffed COUNTLESS matches I've been a part of, really no-sells the spine buster from the heavyweight champ, by not staying down long at all AND walking own his own to the back. He should've had to have been carried to the back OR stayed unconscious on the outside for most of the match. Not a wise move on his behalf. Second, I LOVE the fact Gage didn't hand over title until a ref he trusted would call the match fair, came to the ring. That shows your champ is intelligent enough to not be fooled by anyone. Makes him smarter than most. Kudos Tyler*
With Brian & Epic both part of The Epic Alliance, Gage had his work cut out for himself. Start of match Gage tried to no let either men behind him. Brian and Gage lock up while Grant hangs in the corner. Collar and elbow ends in a stand still with Brian attempting toe kick and Gage swatting it away. Back to both men trying to circle Gage. This time tie up by Grant and Gage. Same ending. Stand still followed by a toe kick which is swatted away by Gage. Epic back peddles in a defensive position saying 'Whoa whoa whoa'. Tie up by Brian and Tyler. Alexander goes for clothesline, which Gage ducks. Back to circling and sizing each other up for the three participants. As the three are circling, Brian stops and produces are a fireball in his hand. Gage, distracted by this, his clubbed in the back of the head from behind by Grant.
What many fell to realize is Brian Alexander is the master of the fireball in wrestling. He has the used fireball, with deadly accuracy, for over a decade. He even uses an on fire baseball bat at times, even on Tyler Gage before. Alexander starts pounding on Gage. Kicks and punches abound. All the while Epic poses for the fans. Brian stretches Gage and exposes his ribs, which Grant sizes up and kicks. Brain goes for the cover, but at 2, Epic pulls him off Gage. Brain with his classic press suplex lands Gage in the middle of the ring.  Cover only gets a 1 due to Grant pushing Alexander off Gage. Grant asks Alexander "I thought you said we were going to take him out?" Brian responds, "What do you think I'm doing?" Letting everyone know what had they had suspected: The Epic Alliance were planning on taking Tyler out of the match, causing it to come down to Brian vs Grant for the Pro South Heavyweight Championship. Epic chops Gage into corner. Takeover into a back stretch leaves Tyler unable to defend himself, as Brian slides into his face with both feet. Epic goes for cover, but Brian snatches him off Gage. Epic claims "I was just kidding." Epic throws a spaghetti arm right hand, but a strong right hand from Alexander sends Gage to the mat. Brian & Epic take turns pounding on the champ. Kicks, slams, stretches, stomps, etc.
Epic then allows Brian a chance to beat on Gage alone and takes a seat on the top rope to admire the beat down and rest. Alexander whips Gage into corner where Epic is perched and Epic delivers a big boot to the jaw of the champ. Alexander calls for Epic and they double Irish whip Gage into the adjacent corner, sternum first. Alexander & Epic beat on Gage for about three minutes. At one point, Brian sets Gage on top rope and Epic gives a running Yakuza kick to Tyler, who crumbles off the top rope and to the outside. Epic goes after Gage and stands him up. Alexander steps to the outside of the apron and hits a baseball slide to a wobbly Gage. Epic hurls Gage into guardrail, which breaks at the top from the force of the impact. Gage is thrown back in the ring. After a desperate attempt at a comeback, the rest of the Epic Alliance hits the ring and beats Gage down. They then drag Gage to the back. It's now as The Epic Alliance wanted it: Brian Alexander vs Grant Mitchell. Brain demands to Epic, "Lay down boy!"  Epic hesitantly agrees to allow Brian to make the cover but adding, "I'm only doing this because I'm a man of my word." When Epic takes longer than he cares for him to, Brian kicks Epic in the chest. Epic then jumps up, but finally lays on his back. As Brian goes to cover him, Epic grabs Brian in an inside cradle. Only a 2 count. Then hip toss to by Grant as Brian pops to his feet. Big right hands by Epic to Alexander. Grant whips Brian into the corner and splashes him with a right elbow to the jaw as well; then followed by a running big boot to the face of Brian. Alexander is still on his feet though. Another running big boot topples Brian. 2 count on the cover by Grant. Big right hand followed by jaw breaker by Brian drops Epic. Tossing scoop slam by Alexander almost throws Epic out of the ring.
Irish whip by Brian is reversed into a short arm clothesline by Grant. Pinfall and only a 2 count. Brian gets to his knees and yells at Grant, as fire burns in his eyes from some place DEEP within Hell that only few damned souls are unfortunate enough to ever visit, "KICK ME BOY!" First kick to the face, barely phases Brian. "I SAID KICK ME BOY!" demands Brian so deep that only the most astute cellist such as the genius Yo Yo Ma could appreciate. Epic kicks Brian RIGHT IN THE FACE. Brian does not fall. Epic goes for one more, but Brian catches his foot and hits a standing choke slam on Grant. Brain gets on top of Epic and starts punching him in the face as Epic covers himself and tries to fend off the barrage. Epic crawls for the corner and as Brian goes to pick him up, Grant goes for a school boy, but Brian holds onto the top rope and wiggles out. Grant then starts saying he and Brian are supposed to be like this, displaying two crossed fingers to Brian. Brian asks for a handshake which Epic agrees to but has his other hand behind his back with his fingers crossed. Brian takes Grant down and goes for a vaulting moonsault from the middle rope which he hits. Fans scream for "ONE MORE" which Brian obliges and eats Grant's knees. Epic charges with a running boot and connects, but Brian gets a huge right hand off at the same time and both men crash to the canvas.
Brian is first to his feet, but a noise from the curtain distracts everyone. Two members of The Epic Alliance are thrown from behind curtain to ringside, one by one. Fans start screaming for Tyler, but Shawn Seagle appears with a chair. Some fans actually seem let down it wasn't Gage, and I agree.
*Another note from me: Here would've been a GREAT opportunity to have Gage be the one tossing the guys back from behind the curtain. It establishes fact that no matter the numbers, you can't keep Tyler down. And to see Shawn, who is a lot smaller than Tyler, TOSS these two out, just didn't seem the same. As some agreed by their reactions.*
This distracts Brian and Grant. Kaiden Knight appears from behind curtain beating all The Epic Alliance members down with a chair. Grant turns his attention to Kaiden and Shawn. Gage slides in and hits the spine buster on Epic and makes the pinfall 1-2-3 to retain the Pro South Heavyweight Championship.
Post match The Epic Alliance beats down on Total Justice for about 7 minutes.
Main Event: NWA World Heavyweight Championship

'The Last Hero' Ace Haven vs 'Scrap Iron' Adam Pearce (C)
This is what the whole night had been building up to. The NWA World Champion Adam Pearce, a throwback to traveling champions, defending "Sweet Charlotte" in Piedmont, Alabama. The face of NWA Pro South Ace Haven gets a shot that many will never get to have: a match for the NWA World Title. Many felt Haven didn't 'deserve' this shot, but here it was.  To many of us, this was what it was all about. THE NWA WORLD TITLE. One of, if not THE, most respected titles out there. We dream of being in a match for this very title. Managing for/or against the World Champion, or Defending/Wrestling for THIS title. All the controversy came to this one match.
As the bell rang, Pearce stood motionless in his corner, waiting to see how Ace was wrestle this match. Ace just stood there. As if he expected the NWA World Champion to meet him in the middle of the ring or something. Pearce finally moved, circling the ring. "Let's Go Ace!" was screamed throughout the building. Adam steps through the ropes to the outside. Ref starts 10 count. Pearce goes through the curtains, but for some reason, Ace doesn't pursue him.
*Note from me: Ok, how often does the NWA World Champion the title in your promotion? How often does anyone get a chance to wrestle in a NWA World title match? Answer to all three: NOT OFTEN. So it was very staggering to me that Ace didn't go after Adam. As I told Ace after the match "Go get your f@#^ing title! The NWA Champ just isn't going to give it to you!" Haven should've went after Pearce.*
Mark Grason appears from the back and states that if Adam hears a 'LETS GO ACE HAVEN' chant again, he's gone. Ace pleads to the crowd NOT to chant 'LETS GO ACE' anymore. Still, Ace doesn't go after the champ. It's very hard as a wrestling manager at a show, to not scream out what is considered the obvious to me. I wanted to scream "GO GET HIM! QUIT WAITING!" but I don't manage Ace, Amy Haven does. So Ace stands in the ring pleading to the fans not to chant, instead of going after the champ...
Ref then threatens to DQ Pearce if he doesn't get in the ring. Which still means Ace doesn't win the title, just the match. Pearce gets in the ring and the 'LETS GO ACE' chants start back up. Pearce then starts jawing with the fans.
One female fan took exception to this jawing and began screaming at Pearce. Adam, of course, acknowledges her and responds to her insults, which throws this girl into a fury, which of course, TAKES heat away from the match. She might as well have been untrained 'valet/manager', which she reminded me of half the people who claim to be managers in our business act at ringside. And yes I'm talking to YOU (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) but i digress.
Pearce starts wrestling with side take downs, go behinds, front face locks, mounting Ace, and working the mat as if this was an amateur wrestling match. Even stopping to pint brush Ace in the back of the head. Pearce hops up on top rope and lays down. As Ace approaches Pearce, Adam shoves Ace so hard, he flies into the adjacent corner. Lock up in the middle of the ring and Adam goes to a waist lock on Haven. Ace looks for any room to separate himself and Pearce or at least to reverse the hold. Adam has it on too tight though. Finally Ace gets a low enough base to get free. Pearce calls ref over and complains Ace grabbed his hair, of which, there is NONE. When the ref doesn't buy this, Adam claims Haven pulled his tights. Tie up in middle of ring leads to a side head lock by Adam, which he wrenches in on Ace. Pearce then loosens and chains into an arm wrench into a hammerlock. Ace reaches over shoulder for anything to grab to get the needed leverage to break free. With a quick reversal of movement and shifting of weight, Ace counters with a hammerlock of his own. Pearce quickly counters with a leg trip and takes Ace down to the mat. Adam applies a front face lock. Adam appears to be happy using amateur wrestling all night in this match. Haven manages to get free and applies a hammerlock on the ground to Pearce. Adam rolls to his feet and forces Haven back into the corner. Pearce throws a right hand all the way from Hollywood CA, and misses, which with the momentum, spins him around into armdrag by Haven who holds on and immediately applies pressure to Adam's arm. Ace works the Champ's arm. Both men to their feet and Ace wrenches the arm. Then snaps Pearce's arm as if he wanted to break it off and beat Adam with it. Pearce breaks free and hot shots Haven on the top rope followed by a Scrap Cutter. Pearce then tosses Ace through the ropes to the outside. Adam then takes Ace around the ring, chopping him and punching him right in the fan's faces. When Pearce felt Ace had enough, he threw him in the ring and stood with one foot on Ace and made a pinfall attempt. Only a 2 count. Neck breaker by Pearce drops Haven. Pearce proceeds to slam and beat on Ace, but every pinfall attempt by Adam, Ace kicks out and receives more punishment for this action. Adam then drags Ace back out of the ring and beats Ace senseless all over the outside, again.
As Pearce is jawing with the fans, Ace sees an opening and starts TAGGING Pearce. Guess Ace was tired of getting the crap beat out of him. Ace uses the guardrail as his friend and weapon, just as Adam had done to him. Ace puts Pearce back into the ring, but takes too long to attack Pearce, and is met with a huge right forearm that knocks Haven three feet through the air. Pearce applies a side front face lock and tries to wear Haven down. Ace battles back with an elbow to the gut and rights and lefts. Two running forearms don't drop Pearce, but a spinning kick to the face does. Haven finally gets his first pinfall attempt on The NWA World Champion. Pearce staggers into the corner, Haven climbs up and does Big 10 Punches. Ace goes to ehip Pearce into the corner, but Adam throws a clubbing forearm into Ace and knocks him into the corner they were near. Adam then chops Ace, whips him into the corner and goes for a splash, but Ace moves and Pearce eats the turnbuckle. Haven runs at Pearce in the corner, but meets the back of Adam's elbow. Pearce climbs to the top. Haven runs and knocks his legs out from under him and he crashes groin first on the top rope. Ace hits a FrankenHaven off the top, but slams his own head into the mat during the process. Both men down. Haven comes for cover, but only a 2 count. Pearce gets to his feet and starts swinging, but Haven ducks every punch and answers with one of his own. Haven charges Adam who throws a clothesline that Ace ducks. Haven jumps and hits a tilt-a-whirl reverse DDT and goes for the cover and Adam IMMEDIATELY kicks out. Not even a 1 count. Haven goes up top. Thinks twice about it, as he sees Gene Jackson emerge from the curtains. As he jumps off the top, he is met by a thunderous clothesline by Scrap Iron. Then Adam drops a knee across Ace's face. Then three more. Pearce goes for pin. Only a 2 count.
Pearce picks Ace up, who goes for a quick head lock takeover but Adam whips Ace instead, who almost runs into the ref. Ace stops short and throws arms out as not to hit ref. Pearce hits Ace from behind and both smash into the ref who slams into the corner. Pearce goes for a suplex on Ace who quickly rolls Adam up with an inside cradle. Fans count to 10, but ref is out. Haven and Pearce to their feet, as is the ref. European uppercut by Ace staggers Pearce into the ropes. Right hands to Pearce's face and back by Ace. Irish whip into the ropes  by Ace and Pearce hits his Clothesline from Hollywood for the cover and the 1-2-3. Ace comes up just short. Gene Jackson then screams that he told Ace he would get him!
*Post Show Notes* This was the best show of the year for Pro South, in my opinion. Psychology wise and work wise. Just too bad the fans didn't REALLY appreciate or KNOW the significance of Adam defending 'Sweet Charlotte' in their building. Ace's only problem is he is inconsistent but he's learning and will only get better. Although Jackson coming out kind of baffles me. Wouldn't you want the NWA World Heavyweight Champion in your promotion? Why not HELP Ace and then beat him for the title? Also Ace should've went for a pinfall earlier in the match. Only way to win a title is to pin the champ.
Nice to see a change in tag team titles also. Daniel and Tomb, I see big things in their future. And with the strides Alexander has mad in the ring over the last few months, 2012 looks bright for The Epic Alliance.
Great to see Gage kicking ass. The kid as size, and you can't teach size. Like I said earlier, I would've had him be the 1 to take out the Epic Alliance though. Not Seagle or Kaiden. Really good show.  2012 is going to be a very good year for NWA Pro South. Now, if only the fans there knew the greatness they were seeing. This show should've packed the house. 140 in attendance is too low for the quality of event this was. Guess the fans have gotten spoiled. This show gets a 4 out of 5 Mohawks. The highest rating yet.

Coast to Coast am Conspiracy Theory Jesse Ventura

http://www.coasttocoastam.com/show/2011/11/08

First hour guest, former Governor of Minnesota, and host of Conspiracy Theory, Jesse Ventura, reacted to the dismissal of his airport security lawsuit, which argued that airport scans and pat-downs amount to unreasonable search and seizure. Because he was not able to present his case in front of a jury, "it tells you that the Bill of Rights is gone, because you have nowhere to go," he commented, explaining that the Federal judge who reviewed his case said she didn't have jurisdiction in the matter. He foresees a time coming when people will be subjected to searches beyond airports such as at train & bus stations, and even highways.

Red Ice Radio: Mary Magdalene, House of Orange & The Reformation

Ralph Ellis - Mary Magdalene, House of Orange & The Reformation
November 1, 2011
Ralph has been researching biblical and Egyptian history for more than 30 years. Being independent from theological and educational establishments has allowed him to tread where others do not dare, and it is through this independence that Ralph has discovered so many new biblical and historical clues about what might be the truth. He just finished a new book called, "Mary Magdalene, Princess of Provence and the House of Orange," which we'll talk about in this interview. Ralph attempts to tackle the history not only of Mary Magdalene, but also the epic struggle of the Reformation and Enlightenment. This was a crusade for freedom of thought, freedom of religion and freedom of speech that cost the lives of millions of people. And the genesis for this epic struggle was Orange in France, the very same city that may well have been established by Mary Magdalene herself. We'll talk about where she came from, the real history of Orange, Jesus as a mason and the Protestant/Catholic war.

Fatima Secrets & UFO Demons Brother Michael Dimond Coast to Coast am 06-05-2011

http://www.coasttocoastam.com/show/2011/06/05
https://www.facebook.com/CoasttoCoastafterDark

Joining George Noory, traditional Catholic Benedictine Monk for 19 years, Brother Michael Dimond discussed why he believes UFOs are demonic entities, as well as the third secret of Fatima and how there is an impostor Sister Lucia. Based on a myriad of contradictory reports on the behavior of UFOs, Dimond said that "there's no way that someone can explain, from a scientific standpoint, how this is possible for any material craft to do these things." As such, he surmised that the phenomenon is of a spiritual nature and, in turn, being orchestrated by Satan. "The grand design of all of it," he postulated, is to undermine belief in the Gospel and replace it with "a new, false, belief system" which will corrupt the human race.

Concerning the third secret of Fatima, Dimond contended that it actually foretold a "massive apostasy seemingly happening inside the Catholic Church," which began with the Second Vatican Council. He alleged that the "real" Sister Lucia was killed in the late 1950's and was replaced by an impostor in order to preserve the true nature of the third Fatima secret. Dimond pointed to photographic evidence as well as strange behavior exhibited by the alleged impostor as clues that there had been a switch. He also cited an interviewer who met with "Sister Lucia" before she died in 2005 and told Dimond that "there's something seriously wrong." The reasoning behind this observation was because Lucia could not recall "simple questions" about her earlier life and appeared to have a "minder" from the Church with her at all times.

NWA Pro South:Wicked Havoc Review

This was touted as NWA Pro South's biggest show of the year. 124 paid were attendance. It was cold, drizzly, and the hometown Piedmont Bulldogs are doing extremely well in football, which usually means a small house, but not tonight. EVERY chair, with the exception of the ones directly beside me, as everyone didn't know if I was friend or foe since I've worked this town for years, was occupied. Since it was Enochtober 28th and Halloween right around the corner, there was a costume contest announced. The children, and some adults, took the chance to dress up and vie for whatever prize was to be given out. There ghouls, ghosts, witches, pirates, and zombies everywhere, and that was most of the ones without costumes. The chairs were close together to get maximum capacity, very old school as it should be.

Pro South has one of the best set ups in the South East. Terry Batey went all out with a Heel and Face entrance, and, as Kevin Moncus will reaffirm, lighting is a great additive to the mood of the show, and Pro South does this very well. Lights change colors, are turned off when necessary, and, most importantly, spotlights the wrestlers in the ring and darkens the crowd during matches.

There were only four matches announced for the event. Two title defenses, a Texas Bull Rope Match, and a Career-vs-Career Match. Seemed like this would make for an interesting night and boy did it ever! Now, full disclosure, I worked a few events for this promotion last year and am not a fan of the 'Golden Child' of the promotion Ace Haven. Also, Brian Alexander 'The Great' was one of my trainers when I got in the business in 2007, so this review was to in NO WAY effect my review. At least that's what I kept telling myself, but I was determined to practice journalistic integrity tonight. And so it goes....

Right before the first match Terry Batey and the new General Manager Gene Jackson came out. Terry has assumed a strictly owners' role, while Gene is handling weekly authoritarian role. Gene announced that he had wanted to strip 'Mean' Mike Posey of the Pro South All Out Title but was unable for reasons I'm not sure, BUT he said he fined Posey $1,000 for his actions against Frankie Valentine. AND he was putting Posey in a Six Way match and his title was on the line. Then Bryce Anderson was introduced as the NWA Representative and he had not ONE but TWO huge announcements for Piedmont. First it was announced that on November 11th, the NWA North American Champion, 'The Temptation' Shaun Tempers, would be defending his title that night against the dreaded To Be Determined; always a formidable opponent. Secondly it was announced that the NWA Heavyweight Champion, 'Scrap Iron' Adam Pearce, would be defending HIS title on December 19th in Piedmont as well. This two HUGE announcements barely got a smattering of applause. My immediate thought was, "These people have NO idea how huge this is for this promotion." And I'm pretty sure they won't until those nights come. Then the announcement by Mark Grason that DID register with the fans: Are you guys ready for some rasslin'?! The place went bonkers....

1st Match:
                      Pro South All Out Title

'Mean' Mike Posey, Jed Johnson, Frankie Valentine, 'Stinger' Shawn Seagle, and Southern Stud Enterprise's own 'Awesome' Scott Spade and 'Epic' Grant Mitchell being accompanied by Big Tomb.
Ring Announcer Mark Grason announced that the match was going to be under tag rules, that being only two men in the ring at a time and you can tag ANY person. This put Posey at a huge disadvantage because he wouldn't even have to be pinned to lose the title. With only two REAL vets in the ring, this had cluster written ALL over it; luckily there were TWO ring generals in this match.

Valentine and Posey started the match off, but Posey quickly tagged in 'Epic' Grant Mitchell. Now Grant pulls a vet move and starts ducking under top rope to bide a little time against the wily vet Valentine. This INSTANTLY draws the ire of the blood thirsty, sugar infused, costumed (and uncostumed) monsters at ringside. They wanted violence and they wanted it now. So what does Epic do? He takes at least a minute to even lock up with Frankie. Finally, having enough, first chance Epic gives Frankie, Valentine delivers three rapid kicks to Grant's backside. After a few failed counters by Epic, Posey and Spade hit the ring only to be beaten into opposite corners to receive a triple ten count punch. All three heels powder to the outside. It becomes apparent that the heels and faces have decided to work together. Valentine puts on a wrestling clinic against Spade. After the face get some shots in on heels, the heels finally take over with a manager trip. Now let's stop right there. As you, the reader can see, to the right is Big Tomb. As a manager I'm all for manager interference, but NOT IN FRONT OF THE REFEREE. Guy only has ONE thing to do, and he messes it up... I was NOT amused. Mike Posey instantly jumps on Seagle like a rabid animal. Grinding on his face and kicking the kid while he was down. First pinfall attempt of match 8 minutes in.

After a few quick tags by the heels. This situation arises that you see on the left of these words. Posey climbs to the top only to jump down and kick Seagle's arm. I laughed. Posey goes for the vaulting leg drop into the ring and misses. Tags to Epic and Valentine. Frankie cleans house and hits a side Russian leg sweep and goes for a cover. Spade breaks up attempt at two. Spades after getting tag starts beating down Valentine. After pinfall attempt on Valentine, in which he kicks out at two, Valentine battles back and hits a side back breaker and goes for cover. Two count. Epic hits his finish Epic Failure but there's NO pinfall attempt. Spade hits a huge back drop.... NO pinfall attempt. Finally Spade kicks Jed while he's down and gets a two count. Spades goes for something, not sure, but he called for the Razor's Edge it seems, but it's countered by a well executed hurricanrana by Johnson. Then all hell breaks loose. As everyone hits their big moves, Seagle hits a spinning corkscrew senton off top rope onto Posey. As he rises, The Pro South Tag Team Champions, who I am sure have had SEVERAL matches together, have "Stinger" (I can't believe I even just typed that for someone NOT Sting) lined for a double super kick. So what happens???????? Naturally they mistime the move and only Epic actually connects, while "Awesome" Scott's misses by about, now I'm not a carpenter by any means, but by about a mile. Then both are taken out. Frankie hits finish on Jed and goes for cover. The ENTIRE time all this has been unfolding, Posey has went undetected by everyone. As SOON as ref's hand hits mat for two count, Posey hits his version of the Alabama Jam on both Jed and Frankie. Posey makes the cover on Johnson 1,2,3. Winner in 18 minutes and 42 seconds: "Mean' Mike Posey.

Notes: This match could've went sooooo bad. Having Valentine and Posey in this helped out a ton. Several times the young guys would start getting lost, Valentine and Posey both slowed down the tempo when needed. Also Big Tomb, if you only have one thing to do in the match: Do it right. It makes the ref look bad when it happens RIGHT in front of him. As a manager, it made my blood boil seeing this. Also, as tag champs, there shouldn't be any mistiming like what happened. And for Shawn Seagle.... Stinger. And you wrestle in the NWA.... The crowd was hot after the finish that saw Posey steal a win from Frankie and retain his title, so, naturally, it was time for... a 20 minute costume contest.... and for those wondering, Zombie Girl won it for kids' division and Father of the End of Times won for adults. Funny tidbit, the kid that wore the John Cena outfit, got booed to the point of tearing up.

2nd Match:
                                   Texas Bullrope Match

This was scheduled as 'The Southern Stud' Waylon Rhodes vs Rick Freeman's Mystery Replacement. Ton of speculation as to who Waylon's opponent would be. Waylon was dressed and ready to rock-n-roll, against who? He had no idea.
Rick Freeman came out and said he was to have surgery but had a suitable replacement to face Waylon. Then Who Let the Dogs Out blared over the speakers: it was Bulldog Raines. The last time he was at Pro South, Waylon beat Bulldog down and almost cost Raines an eye. Bulldog was only to happy to take Freeman's place. Waylon had already wrapped the rope around his hand, so as he tried to head back to the locker room, Bulldog gave a HUGE tug and about yanked Rhodes instantly back into the ring. Bulldog dominates the first few minutes of the match, but this is OBVIOUSLY not Waylon's first rodeo cowboy. Waylon seems to have been born with a rope in his hand because I swear it was an extension of his arm. There was, as ANY TX Bullrope Match rope would have, a bell in the middle and Waylon used this bell to hit Bulldog in the head, clothesline him with it, hit him in the jaw with it, he USED the rope as a weapon which is sometimes over looked in these matches except when done on TV. Waylon also used the rope, choking Bulldog with it, using it as a clothesline, and even using it as a muzzle on Raines.

Waylon makes the mistake of taunting the crowd which is the opening Raines needs. After 4+ minutes of  being beaten, well, like a dog, Bulldog fires back and starts manhandling Waylon. Now, this is a Texas Bullrope Match so the object is to touch all four corners, in succession. 8 minutes in, and NOT a turnbuckle had been touched. You could tell these men just wanted to beat each other. Waylon takes back control of match with a and eye rake to the same eye that Bulldog almost lost because of Waylon. Got to love a heel that doesn't forget the damage he has caused prior. Waylon goes to touch first turnbuckle but Bulldog attacks and starts hammering on Waylon with the rope wrapped around his fist. Bulldog touches first turnbuckle 9 minutes 27 seconds into the match.  Waylon takes Raines' knees out and ties Bulldog's legs together. Waylon gets first three turnbuckles but right as he goes for fourth, Bulldog breaks free of rope and slams Waylon breaking the succession. As Bulldog goes for turnbuckle, Waylon pops up and slams Bulldog. Then wraps rope around his arm and hits the Southern Stud Elbow. Waylon jumps to his feet like a lion and roars!! Waylon sees the turnbuckle, but instead of touching it, he goes up top. Waylon isn't a small man, so when he attempts a Waylonsault, it is something of beauty. Vader IS impressed. But Bulldog moves out of the way. Bulldog fires up with rights and lefts to Waylon as soon as both men stand to their feet. Then follows it up with a bell-shot to the head for good measure. As Bulldog goes for third turnbuckle, Southern Stud Enterprises hits the ring. Strength in numbers works MOST of the time, but Bulldog is NOT having this. He wants revenge. While S.S. Enterprises is trying to keep Bulldog down,. Waylon grabs a handful of powder he had strategically hidden earlier in the day. Right as Waylon raises back to throw the powder, Bulldog kicks his hand a powder goes EVERYWHERE! Waylon is choked by the powder and immediately falls to his knees. This allows Bulldog to touch all four corners.
Winner: Bulldog Raines in 16 minutes 45 seconds.
Note: The Powder hung around for at least an hour. It just set in the air and everyone near the door of the building was covered in powder. I've said this several times before and I'll say it again: The ONLY thing holding 'The Southern Stud' Waylon Rhodes back, is him using the Rhodes name. Calling yourself  'Stinger' is one thing, but Waylon is a whole other thing. This kid moves like a lion, and definitely fast for his size. Bulldog is one of the best Babyface 'Monsters' in the South and he got his revenge, but this match was Waylon Rhodes' breaking out party. Welcome to the stage kid.

3rd Match:
                     NWA Pro South Heavyweight Championship
Brian Alexander 'The Great'  vs 'The Future Classic' Tyler Gauge. This is where the little line you see on wrestling posters and flyers everywhere comes into play. The line says *CARD SUBJECT TO CHANGE* and it did.
Tyler Gauge's music hits. No Tyler Gauge. After 30 to 45 seconds, the music changes to Metallica, a sure sign that it's about to get Great. Brian Alexander comes out and asks, 'Where's Tyler?' And then answers himself and breaks the news to everyone in attendance: Tyler Gauge isn't there. He is at the hospital for the birth of his first child. Brian then demands the ref to count Gauge. Ref strats 10 count. Brian yells hold on. Ref continues count, as Alexander emerges from behind the curtain with a stool. He then proceeds to sat down and listen as ref makes 10 count. Bell rings, Brian goes to leave and the music hits. Gene the GM comes out and says there WILL be a match, but since this opponent isn't on the regular Pro South roster, it WILL NOT be a title match. But Brian will be wrestling....  'Pretty Boy' Doug Somers! Immediate reaction from fans is, 'Who the hell is that?' Older fans cheer, but one lady says aloud, 'I didn't even know he was still alive, much less rasslin.' Doug could BARELY get his leg over the middle rope. Brian had already started to leave when it was announced he would still have a match. As Alexander tries to get in the ring, Somers slowly walks to the rope and kicks at it and throws some air punches. Brian screams for ref to get Doug back, the ref, not a SINGLE time, attempts to get Doug back so Brian can enter the ring. Finally after almost a minute, Brian gets in and is met with an overhand chop. Then another. Then another. Then another. Then a punch to the jaw. Alexander Irish whips Doug, who reverses it and throws Brian into the corner. Somers takes a 1/2 a step and charges at Brian. Alexander moves and Doug smacks his shoulder into the ringpost. Alexander grabs the injured arm and starts working it. As Brian arm wrenches Doug and hammers him in the back, Doug, bot once, falls to his knees, he just stands there. Finally Brian jumps to the outside and yanks Doug's arm across top rope. As Brian gets in, Doug pushes Brian to the corner and starts chopping him down. Ref doesn't even get in the middle to back Doug off or attempt a five count. Doug Somers is Judge Dredd, he IS the law. Brian goes to outside and trips Doug's legs. Finally Doug goes to the canvas. Alexander gets in the ring and starts jawing with the ref. Doug its a low blow in front of the ref who just stands there. Doug goes for the first pinfall of the match.  Only a two count. Brian stands up, Doug throws straight right cross, Alexander ducks it and hits a school boy on Doug for the 1,2,3, which is weird seeing how Doug BARELY had one shoulder down and his arm was under the ropes.
Winner: NWA Pro South Heavyweight Champion Brian Alexander 'The Great'
Notes: This was hard to watch. Doug's best years are WAAAAAAAAY behind him. And while I respect the man, he's too 'seasoned' to be in the ring anymore. I was told later that this weekend was probably his last weekend to do anything in ring wise, BUT with that being said, you can't replace a 19 year old called 'The Future Classic' with a man who made his debut in 1971. And this was, obviously, a match given to him out of respect, BUT you CAN NOT have this happen against your champion. You want to feed him a greenhorn, that's one thing, but you can NOT put your champ in a predicament like this. Not on your BIGGEST show anyways. When you have fans screaming for the heel to 'put him (Doug) out of his misery' the match has gone bad. This actually went 7 minutes and 9 seconds.
Then came a MUCH needed intermission before the main event of the evening.

Main Event:
                        Career-vs-Career Match

There was a certain energy in the air. Everyone knew what was about to happen: Two real life former friends now turned enemies. These two trained together and fought together, but now their rivalry was coming to this: a career-vs-career match.  Both men's careers have been short but one was ending tonight. Here in Piedmont, AL.

Haven came out first and some Japanese streamers that were Zebra designed had been handed out to a few hardcore Ace Haven fans. Problem is those kids are under the age of 8 so the streamers just pelted Haven in the face as some kids got rambunctious and threw theirs as Ace was getting in the ring. For what it's worth, a few actually made it in streaming at the right moment, problem is there were only six or seven that made it. I keep wanting to call Brandon Collum, Columbine. A name he used for much of his time in the ring. This kid knows how to play heel. No playing to fans. No signing autographs. And, Joey Image would love this, the kid works a crowd. Yes, an actual heel that is a bad guy. Now his William Schmitkesque beard needs a trimming, but that's okay. As Collum makes it around first turnpost, Ace climbs to turnbuckle and leaps onto an unsuspecting Collum. Ace then throws six or seven punches straight to Brandon's jaw. Ace whips Brandon into guardrail. Ace charges up is flipped into the audience by Collum. Some fans try to catch Ace but he crashes into them sending people flying. Ace tries to check on the fans by Collum wastes little time in attacking Ace with repeated rights. Ace reverses Collum and throws him head first into the Sheetrock wall. Brandon's head goes all the way throw the wall so you can see light into the next room, which was the bathroom. As the battle around every corner of the building, Amy Haven, Ace's fiance and sometimes valet, hits Brandon in the back screaming, 'You can't do that! Get off of him Brandon!' Collum turns to punch Amy but stops. Ace throws a punch at Brandon who moves and the right cross connects dead on the side of Amy's face. Amy drops to the hard, cold concrete like a sock of rocks. As she lay there in the spilled Crunk juice, Cokes, and probably God knows what, Ace tries to check on her only to catch a boot straight to the face. The lights eventually had cut on during the mayhem and you could the faces of the fans change with each punch. The ardent Ace haters and Collum fans were cheering at everything Brandon did, even cheering when Amy was carried out of the building and sent to be attended to. The hardcore Ace fans just looked as if they just wanted the kid to survive. Collum throws Ace in the ring, as Collum gets up on apron, Terry Batey runs out and hits him from behind. As Brandon staggers to the middle of ring, Ace hits a cutter on him. 1, 2.... Brandon kicks out. Brandon and Ace start throwing punches to each other's jaws. Brandon Irish whips Ace and goes for spear. Ace moves and ref takes the spear. Another ref comes out. As Ace turns to ref, Collum grabs his leg and school boys him for the fastest three count in sometime. As ref tries to leave, Ace grabs him and beats him down. His career is over, what does he care.
Winner: Brandon Collum in 9 minutes 27 seconds

The locker room empties and blocks Brandon's exit. Brice Anderson came from the back, and stated 'This match WILL not end this way,' and ordered the match to restart.

The match is restarted as a lumberjack match. Ace takes advantage and starts knocking Collum down. Brandon just keeps popping up only to be knocked back down. Collum finally hits his falling arm breaker finisher. 1,2, and Ace kicks out and 2 and 15/16. Both men down. Both men rise to their feet, exchanging chops and punches the whole way. Brandon is flipped to the outside. Ace goes for baseball slide to the outside and Brandon moves and DDTs Ace on outside. Both men down again. Brandon gets to his feet and throws Ace into the ring. NOW he finally covers him. Only a two count. Brandon gets Ace up and applies the Cobra Clutch submission. Ace fights and tries to wiggle free. Crowd is going crazy for Ace to get free. Ace finds the tiniest hole he can, and breaks free. Hits the Cutter out of nowhere, with both men down, Ace gets enough of senses back to throw his arm over Brandon for the 1,2,3.
Winner: Ace Haven in 9 Minutes and 18 seconds AFTER restart.

Ace leaves to a standing ovation. His career intact. Brandon comes to his feet with Sheetrock in his hair still and to the ringing tune of NA NA NA HEY HEY HEY GOOD BYE.

Overall a decent event. I give it a 84 because I felt they misused their Heavyweight Champion on their biggest show. If you wan the promotion to be taken seriously outside of the area, you CAN NOT have that happen. Main event was better than expected. No blood in the TX Bullrope match isn't as good either, and yes I understand 'family friendly' but you are taking kids to see people get beat up anyways, and you can't have your tag champs mistime a finish THAT bad. Terry Batey's a smart guy, so I'm sure he'll be able to build on this success for November 11th event when NWA North American Champion Shaun Tempers comes to town. Anyone in Calhoun County and surrounding areas check this show out.

AWA Munford Madness Review

Crowd was pretty good seeing how NASCAR was in town, and Alabama Crimson Tide Football was on. 80 to 85 spectators on hand for event which took place in the old Munford Hugh School gym. Very kid friendly atmosphere with kids running all the place.

'Action' Mike Jackson came out about 30 mins before show to do the infamous 'Mike Jackson Raffle'. Of course since Jackson is a KING of the AL indy scene, he made sure to have XXXL Shirts. (Smarkrage would approve.) This man would sell anything and everything at an event, and probably already has.

After raffle ended, Jackson shared his testimony to the audience. Only in the South does prayer before a show where guys beat the hell out of each other gets a huge pop from crowd. As soon as prayer ends, music blares throughout the gym. It's The undefeated American Wrestling Elite Heavyweight Champion 'The Prime Minister of Pain' Johnny Slaughter who wastes NO time in reminding Mike Jackson that he has beat me all over the state and that 'Action' Mike is hiding from him BEHIND Joe Hogan and the triple threat match scheduled for later in the night between Hogan, Jackson, and Slaughter. Jackson This leads to Jackson challenging Slaughter and Jackson putting his own Alabama Heavyweight Championship on the line. Slaughter gladly accepts and leaves.
So..... No Triple Threat???

1ST Match:
Brandon Collum vs Nathan Childs

Collum stalked around ring for 2 minutes before match ever started. Brandon was
determined to wrestle at his pace; smart move. Lock up led to hip toss reversal. Collum decided to wrestle and taunt the crowd. Many heels do not understand how to work the crowd, Brandon isn't one of them. Two shoulder tackles for Collum, to no avail. The third shoulder tackle made Brandon powder for second time. During ensuing chase, Collum outsmarted Childs as he slid into ring by dropping elbow on the ribs immediately. 1st pin fall by Collum brings only a 1 count. Childs comes back and slams Brandon hard. Too close to ropes though. Every worker should know where the ropes are, even the ref. Brandon with quick kicks on Childs to break him down. Collum goes for rest hold five minutes into match. Big elbow to Collum as Childs starts to fire up. Big fallaway slam by Childs, but no cover. Instead Nathan goes up top for swanton and finds no one home. Right after Collum hits his signature leg jaw breaker, music hits...... Out comes Pro South's own Ace and Amy Haven. Nathan takes advantage and rolls Collum up for 1-2-3 via school boy. Winner at 7 Minutes 18 seconds Nathan Childs. Ace runs in the ring as Collum powders. Now here's where having a vet to pull you aside helps. It went unnoticed by most BUT Ace Haven proceeds to say, not once but twice, that Pro South is the 'premiere' wrestling around..... wait you just showed up, as a babyface to a show, and put ANOTHER show over as the premiere wrestling show. DEFINITELY a no no, but crowd recognized Ace and Amy and didn't even care.

2nd Match:

Joey Sartain vs 'Doink' the Clown

Sartain is legit scared of clowns which made this a funny combo. Ref starts checking the wrestlers, AFTER the bell. Then calls for second bell 15 seconds after first bell. "Doink" breaks out Flair strut, so what does ref do?? CALLS FOR BELL FOR THIRD TIME!! Sartain wastes no time in screaming, 'How many times you going to ask for bell ref?' "Doink starts with collar and elbow tie up, then stomps Joey's toe. Right before next lock up? Toe stomp. Third lock up attempt for Sartain... toe stomp for your troubles. Follwed up by a HUGE open hand slap across the face from "Doink." as Sartain pops up, "Doink" hits a single leg take down into an air guitar using Joey's leg. Joey jumps to his feet only to have both ears grabbed by "Doink" into a subsequent ear/head lock takeover. Then two quick two count falls are followed up by "Doink" pulling himself off pin then throwing ref on Sartain and counting quick two before Joey kicks out, Crowd goes bananas. Sartain jumps to his feet and uses this opening to take over. Joey wastes too much time on picking up "Doink" which he turns into a quick armdrag hurling Sartain to outside. Then chase around ring ensues as "Doink" goes outside after Joey, who drops huge elbow on "Doink" as he slides back in ring. Finally 6 minutes 49 seconds into match and we have first true heat. Joey relentless with stomps and kicks. As he poses to fans, "Doink" gets near fall with school boy on Joey. "Doink" Irish whips Sartain into corner and hits Clothesline from The Carnival (Hell). Only 2 count. As "Doink" picks Joey up, Sartain hits quick ddt; 2 count. Joey eyes the top rope and takes FOREVER to get up top. Joey goes for splash and "Doink" moves. Punch, punch, followed up by calf kick by "Doink" gets two count. Sartain throws "Doink's" arms off, goes for clothesline, "Doink" ducks and hits Angle Slam for 1-2-3. Winner at 13 minutes 55 seconds: "Doink" the Clown.

3rd MATCH:

Alabama Heavyweight Championship Bout

'Prime Minister of Pain' Johnny Slaughter vs 'Action' Mike Jackson

Slaughter attacked Jackson AS SOON as bell rang. Jackson blocks punch spins Johnny around and goes to town. Slaps and punches abound. Slaughter throws clothesline, Jackson ducks and hits flying head scissors. Slaughter is a bumping machine. Jackson hits single leg takedown and starts working arm. Clothesline ducked leads to hip toss on Slaughter. Jackson right back to working arm. Jackson doe his signature walk the rope tomahawk chop. Slaughter hits a vicious clothesline to take over. Slaughter sees blood in the water. Snake eyes into the corner followed up by side Russian leg sweep leads to a two count AFTER Jackson rolls to ropes (very good vet move) which causes Slaughter to waste time dragging Jackson back to middle of ring. Undeterred,  Slaughter puts the boots to Mike. Then comes a Camel Clutch that The Iron Sheik would be proud of. Slaughter lets up. Slaughter Irish whips 'Action' Mike. Mike ducks clothesline only to find Johnny waiting on him with the 'kitchen sink' knee lift. Kitchen Sink and Snake Eyes in one match. Beautiful. Jackson fights back, off the ropes, he is met by a spinning side walk slam by Slaughter. Only a two count. Slaughter goes up top and misses the Alabama Jam. Jackson starts hitting snap jabs to the chin of Johnny who ducks the last one only to be hit with a spinning neckbreaker for his troubles. The momentum sends 'Action' Mike to the outside. Jackson gets up to apron at ref's count of seven. Mike goes for sunset flip into ring on Slaughter, but Johnny drops his weight onto Mike's shoulders and grabs middle rope for good measure. 1-2-3. New Alabama Heavyweight Champion 'The Prime Minister of Pain' Johnny Slaughter.  BUT... Joe Hogan comes to the ring, announces Slaughter cheated and reverses the ref's decision. Mike grabs belt and gets out of ring. Slaughter screams he's tired of Joe. Joe responds by saying he'll give Slaughter a match against him since he's so mad. Johnny Slaughter, now has to face two Alabama legends back-to-back. What was promoted as a triple threat has now become two matches. As Hogan leaves the ring from announcing the new match, 'Action' Mike Jackson wastes no time in starting the 2nd raffle of the night.

Intermission

4th Match:

'The Prime Minister of Pain' Johnny Slaughter vs 'New Age Superstar' Joe Hogan

Tie up to start match Hogan pushes Slaughter into corner and clean break. Another tie up, Slaughter pushes Hogan into corner ocean break but Hogan ducks and fires up on Johnny. Johnny throws clothesline, Hogan ducks and hits spinning head scissors on Slaughter and sends him to the floor. Pretty good show. I give it an 89%. Better than some Raws, Smackdowns, and Impacts  of recent memory. Some of these guys have to get better gear and ending of show shouldnt get a reaction like that. They should either be happy or pissed off to come back. Fans tonight were little confused. Lot of young talent and potential for the event.
